Description

A quick and nutritious breakfast wrap featuring fluffy egg whites, creamy avocado, and cheese, all wrapped in a soft tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 1 large tortilla
  • 1/2 cup egg whites
  • 1/4 cup cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/4 avocado, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Salsa (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat until it’s warm and ready for cooking.
  2. Whisk the egg whites together in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
  3. Pour the egg whites into the heated skillet. Cook until they’re set, about 2-3 minutes, stirring gently to prevent sticking.
  4. Place the tortilla flat on a cutting board and make a single cut from the center to the edge.
  5. On one quadrant of the tortilla, layer the cooked egg whites, shredded cheese, and sliced avocado. Add any additional toppings.
  6. Fold the tortilla into a triangular shape starting from the cut edge, enclosing the filling inside.
  7. Return the filled tortilla to the skillet and toast it on both sides until golden brown and crispy, about 2 minutes per side.
  8. Serve your wrap hot, accompanied by salsa if desired.

Notes

Serve with fresh fruit or Greek yogurt for extra creaminess. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
