- 1 large tortilla
- 1/2 cup egg whites
- 1/4 cup cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/4 avocado, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Salsa (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat until it’s warm and ready for cooking.
- Whisk the egg whites together in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
- Pour the egg whites into the heated skillet. Cook until they’re set, about 2-3 minutes, stirring gently to prevent sticking.
- Place the tortilla flat on a cutting board and make a single cut from the center to the edge.
- On one quadrant of the tortilla, layer the cooked egg whites, shredded cheese, and sliced avocado. Add any additional toppings.
- Fold the tortilla into a triangular shape starting from the cut edge, enclosing the filling inside.
- Return the filled tortilla to the skillet and toast it on both sides until golden brown and crispy, about 2 minutes per side.
- Serve your wrap hot, accompanied by salsa if desired.
Notes
Serve with fresh fruit or Greek yogurt for extra creaminess. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
