Description
Tender, juicy chicken coated in a sticky, sweet chili glaze, better than takeout.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a bowl. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, stirring to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
Don’t overcook the chicken to maintain tenderness. Customize the heat by adding red pepper flakes if desired.
