Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Fresh grapes
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • Wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Rinse the grapes under cool water and dry them thoroughly using a clean kitchen towel.
  2. Thread the grapes onto wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each grape.
  3. Combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  4. Allow the syrup to continue cooking until it reaches the hard crack stage at 300°F.
  5. Carefully dip each skewer of grapes into the hot syrup, ensuring each grape is coated completely.
  6. Place the dipped skewers on parchment paper to cool.
  7. Once cooled, enjoy your Tanghulu grapes as a sweet and refreshing snack.

Notes

Make sure the grapes are completely dry to ensure the sugar clings well. Monitor the syrup closely to prevent burning.
