Description

Delicious, guilt-free brownies made with sweet potatoes and rich cocoa that are nutritious and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the mashed sweet potatoes, almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips if using. Pour the batter into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then slice into squares and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm for a gooey texture or at room temperature for a firmer bite. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
