Ingredients

  • 1 large cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and toss them with olive oil directly on the baking sheet.
  3. Roast the cauliflower for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until tender and slightly browned.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Heat until simmering and slightly thickened.
  5. Transfer the roasted cauliflower to a mixing bowl, pour the warm sauce over it, and toss to coat evenly.

Notes

Ensure the cauliflower is dry before tossing with oil for a crispy texture. For added heat, include red pepper flakes.
