Description

A wholesome dish combining quinoa, perfectly cooked steak, and vibrant vegetables for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 lb steak (your choice of cut)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (like bell peppers, zucchini, and broccoli)
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) for garnish
  • Optional toppings: avocado, feta cheese, or a dressing of choice

Instructions

  1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water. In a pot, bring the water to a boil, then add the quinoa. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes until the water is absorbed.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook the steak to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables to the same skillet and sauté until tender.
  5. Assemble the bowl with a serving of quinoa at the bottom, topped with sliced steak, sautéed vegetables, and any optional toppings.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy!

Notes

Customize with your favorite veggies or toppings. Ideal for meal prep and can be stored in the refrigerator.
