A quick, flavorful meal that brings together savory beef, fragrant garlic, and fresh vegetables for a hearty dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound beef (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the garlic and onion, and sauté until aromatic, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until tender, around 3 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet, and stir well to combine.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce, sriracha, and mayonnaise, mixing until everything is coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions for a fresh finish.

Notes

Use day-old rice for better texture. Adjust the heat of the dish by varying the amount of sriracha used.
