Description

A deliciously simple treat combining dark chocolate, sweet dates, and crunchy peanuts for a healthier twist on the classic Snickers bar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup peanuts, chopped
  • Sea salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Combine the pitted dates and peanut butter in a bowl, mixing until smooth.
  3. Spread the date and peanut butter mixture evenly onto the prepared baking tray.
  4. Pour the melted dark chocolate over the date mixture and top with chopped peanuts and sea salt.
  5. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes, then cut into squares.

Notes

Use Medjool dates for a softer texture. For extra sweetness, drizzle honey or maple syrup over the date mixture before adding chocolate.
