- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine 3 tablespoons of sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl; set aside.
- Whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
- Mix in the eggs, one at a time, along with the vanilla extract.
- Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients gradually until the dough just comes together.
- Roll the dough into balls, then roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
