4 cups cranberry juice (unsweetened or sweetened, based on preference)
2 cups orange juice (pulp-free is recommended)
1/4 cup fresh lime or lemon juice
1 liter sparkling water, club soda, or ginger ale (chilled)
1/4 cup honey or simple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries for garnish
1 large orange, thinly sliced into rounds
Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Ice cubes or an ice ring
Instructions
Step 1: Chill Your Ingredients – Place the cranberry juice, orange juice, and sparkling water in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before you plan to serve. Cold ingredients ensure the punch stays refreshing without needing excessive ice, which can water down the flavor.
Step 2: Combine the Juice Base – In a large glass pitcher or a punch bowl, pour in the cranberry juice, orange juice, and lime juice. If you prefer a sweeter punch, stir in the honey or simple syrup at this stage until it is fully dissolved into the liquid.
Step 3: Add the Carbonation – Just before your guests arrive or right before you are ready to serve, slowly pour the sparkling water or ginger ale into the juice mixture. Stir very gently with a long spoon to combine the liquids without releasing too much carbonation.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve – Drop the fresh cranberries and orange slices directly into the pitcher or bowl. Add ice cubes or a decorative ice ring to keep the temperature low. Pour into glasses and garnish each with a fresh sprig of rosemary for a festive aroma.
