Place your popped popcorn into a very large mixing bowl. It is helpful to sift through the popcorn with your hands first to make sure no unpopped kernels are hiding at the bottom, as these can be a literal pain to bite into later.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the mini marshmallows and salt. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove the pan from the heat immediately to prevent burning.
Stir the vanilla extract into the melted marshmallow mixture. Add a few drops of orange food coloring and stir until the color is even. Keep adding color until you reach your desired shade of festive orange.
Pour the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn in the bowl. Use a greased spatula to gently fold the popcorn until it is evenly coated. While the mixture is still slightly warm and sticky, fold in the candy corn, chocolate candies, and sprinkles.
Grease your hands with a little bit of butter or non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking. Scoop about 3/4 cup of the mixture and gently press it into a ball shape. Do not squeeze too hard, or the popcorn balls will become dense. Place the finished balls on a sheet of parchment paper to cool and set completely.
