Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries (for muddling and garnish)
  • 1/2 cup honey or granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3–4 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Rosemary Simple Syrup In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar (or honey), and two sprigs of fresh rosemary. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes to infuse the rosemary flavor, then remove from heat and let it cool completely. Strain out the rosemary before using.
  2. Step 2: Muddle the Cranberries Place a handful of fresh cranberries into a large pitcher or individual glasses. Use a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to gently crush the berries. This releases their natural juices and adds a beautiful texture to the drink.
  3. Step 3: Mix the Base Ingredients Add the unsweetened cranberry juice, lime juice, and 4 tablespoons of your cooled rosemary simple syrup to the pitcher with the muddled cranberries. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  4. Step 4: Add Ice and Sparkle Fill your serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour the cranberry mixture over the ice until the glasses are about two-thirds full. Top off each glass with sparkling water or club soda for a refreshing fizz.
  5. Step 5: Garnish and Serve Give each glass a very gentle stir. Garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary and a few whole cranberries. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.
