Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 2 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 oz sparkling water or club soda
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or simple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Orange slices for garnish
  • Fresh rosemary sprig for aroma
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Glassware. Fill a tall glass or a festive coupe glass with plenty of ice cubes. Chilling the glass beforehand in the freezer for a few minutes can help keep the drink cold even longer.
  2. Step 2: Combine the Fruit Juices. Pour the cranberry juice and the freshly squeezed orange juice over the ice. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add the maple syrup or simple syrup at this stage and stir gently with a long spoon to combine.
  3. Step 3: Add the Sparkle. Top the mixture with sparkling water or club soda. Pour slowly to maintain the carbonation. Give it one very gentle stir to incorporate the juices with the fizz without losing the bubbles.
  4. Step 4: Garnish and Serve. Drop a few fresh cranberries into the glass and slide an orange slice onto the rim or directly into the drink. Slap a sprig of rosemary between your palms to release the oils and tuck it into the ice for a fragrant finish. Serve immediately.
