2 oz Cranberry juice (unsweetened or cocktail blend)
1/2 oz Fresh lime juice
4 oz Ginger beer
Fresh cranberries for garnish
Fresh rosemary sprig for garnish
Ice (crushed or cubed)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mug. Start by filling a copper mug or a highball glass with plenty of ice. If you have time, you can place your copper mug in the freezer for 10 minutes beforehand to get it extra frosty.
Step 2: Combine the Liquids. Pour the vodka, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice over the ice. Using fresh lime juice is essential as it provides a much brighter flavor than the bottled variety.
Step 3: Top with Ginger Beer. Pour the ginger beer slowly into the mug. Be careful not to pour too fast so you don’t lose the carbonation. Use a long spoon to give it one or two gentle stirs to combine the flavors.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve. Drop a few fresh cranberries on top and tuck a sprig of fresh rosemary into the ice. The rosemary adds a wonderful aromatic element every time you take a sip. Serve immediately while it is cold and bubbly.
