4 slices deli turkey breast (nitrate-free preferred)
1/4 cup raw almonds
1/2 cup red or green grapes
6–8 whole wheat crackers
Instructions
Place the eggs in a small saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let the eggs sit for 10 minutes before transferring them to an ice bath. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half or leave them whole, depending on your preference.
Cut your sharp cheddar cheese into bite-sized cubes. Place them in a small bowl and toss with the finely minced fresh chives. The moisture from the cheese will help the chives stick, providing a burst of flavor in every bite.
Lay the deli turkey slices flat on a clean surface. Roll each slice up tightly into a log shape. If the slices are very large, you can cut them in half before rolling. This makes them easy to grab and eat with your fingers.
In a multi-compartment bento box, place the turkey rolls and hard-boiled eggs in the largest section. Use the smaller dividers for the chive-coated cheddar cubes, almonds, and grapes. Place the crackers in a separate spot or a small silicone muffin liner to ensure they stay perfectly crisp.
