Instructions
- Combine lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, and chicken broth in a slow cooker.
- Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker and coat them well with the marinade.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir with the sauce before serving garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. Adjust seasonings as desired, and for a thicker sauce, let it cook with the lid off after shredding the chicken.
