Description

Tender, shredded beef combined with rich barbecue sauce, served on soft hamburger buns for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Start by seasoning the beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add the seasoned beef roast on top of the onions.
  4. Pour the barbecue sauce and beef broth over the roast.
  5. Cover the slow cooker lid tightly and set it to cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the beef using two forks and mix it thoroughly with the sauce.
  7. Serve the shredded beef on soft hamburger buns.

Notes

Serve with additional barbecue sauce, pickles, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
