- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Hamburger buns
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the seasoned beef roast on top of the onions.
- Pour the barbecue sauce and beef broth over the roast.
- Cover the slow cooker lid tightly and set it to cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the beef using two forks and mix it thoroughly with the sauce.
- Serve the shredded beef on soft hamburger buns.

Serve with additional barbecue sauce, pickles, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
