Description

  • Water (as needed)
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 egg whites
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the flour, olive oil, salt, and water in a bowl to create the dough.
  3. Roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy; chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Whisk the egg whites, salt, pepper, and herbs together in another bowl.
  6. Spread the egg mixture over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  7. Distribute the chopped turkey bacon on top and sprinkle with cheese if desired.
  8. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, concealing the edges slightly.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden and the egg filling is set.
  10. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
