Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat to keep the dish light.
  2. Add minced garlic and sliced bell pepper to the skillet, cooking until the pepper softens, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in hot honey and soy sauce, mixing well to coat every piece of beef. Let simmer for a couple of minutes.
  4. In another pot, steam the broccoli until tender, around 5 minutes. Serve the beef mixture over rice, topped with broccoli and garnished with green onions.
