Description

A delightful blend of rich semi-sweet chocolate and creamy white chocolate topped with crushed candy canes for a refreshing touch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking dish with parchment paper to ensure easy removal of the fudge once it’s set.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips along with the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the peppermint extract and salt.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Melt the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl until smooth. Pour over the semi-sweet chocolate layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top, pressing them lightly into the white chocolate. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until set, then cut into squares.

Notes

For a festive twist, add a few drops of food coloring to the white chocolate.
