Description

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter, blending well.
  3. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and gently combine. Add the flour and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter, add a spoonful of Nutella, and swirl with a toothpick. Fill with the remaining batter and optionally add more Nutella on top.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For the best sweetness, ensure your bananas are very ripe. Don’t over-mix the batter for optimal texture.
