Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup crushed nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup cocoa powder (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.
  2. Stir in 1/2 cup of caramel sauce and 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt until well blended.
  3. Cool the mixture slightly, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm.
  4. Scoop out small amounts and roll them into balls; roll in cocoa powder or crushed nuts.
  5. Chill the truffles back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze for up to three months.
