15-Minute Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice

Description

A quick and delicious dish combining succulent shrimp sautéed in garlic butter with fluffy rice, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add rice and toast for a minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked.
  8. Fluff the rice with a fork, add back the shrimp, and mix gently.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Best served warm, pairs well with a crisp salad or steamed vegetables.
