- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add rice and toast for a minute.
- Pour in chicken broth, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Fluff the rice with a fork, add back the shrimp, and mix gently.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
Notes
Best served warm, pairs well with a crisp salad or steamed vegetables.
