Description
Mini Big Mac Cheeseburgers are bite-sized tributes to the classic fast-food favorite, with juicy beef patties, melty cheese, and signature special sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 small hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup special sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish)
Instructions
- Start by preheating your grill or skillet over medium-high heat to ensure a nice sear on the patties.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Use your hands to thoroughly mix the seasonings into the meat, then divide it into 8 equal portions and form small patties.
- Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are thoroughly cooked and have a nice browning on the outside.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty, covering them with a lid to help the cheese melt. Once melted, remove the patties from the heat.
- Assemble the mini burgers by placing each patty on the bottom half of a bun. Add the shredded lettuce, pickles, onions, and a generous scoop of special sauce on top. Finally, place the top half of the bun on each mini burger and they’re ready to serve!
Notes
For juicier patties, try adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Experiment with different cheese types for unique flavors.
