Description

A hearty meal combining crispy potatoes, savory ground beef, and fresh toppings, perfect for customization.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss the diced potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
  3. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water, cooking according to packet instructions.
  5. Assemble the bowls starting with a layer of crispy potatoes, topped with seasoned beef, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, and tomatoes. Serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure potatoes are cut uniformly for even cooking and do not overcrowd the baking sheet for the best crispiness.
