Description
A delightful fusion of savory, sweet, and aromatic flavors in tender pork chops marinated in soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Place the pork chops in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for more flavor).
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the pork chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove from heat and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of gochujang to the marinade. Letting the pork chop marinate overnight enhances flavor.
