Description

A delightful fusion of savory, sweet, and aromatic flavors in tender pork chops marinated in soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the pork chops in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the pork chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  4. Remove from heat and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions and serve.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of gochujang to the marinade. Letting the pork chop marinate overnight enhances flavor.
