Description

Luxurious bite-sized espresso truffles made from just five ingredients, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings or impressing guests.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz finely chopped chocolate (dark, milk, or dairy-free)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • 1 tbsp espresso powder
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter or coconut oil
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate (for optional coating)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  2. Warm the cream in a small saucepan until just about to simmer; do not boil.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the melted chocolate, then add espresso powder and butter. Stir until smooth.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls using your hands.
  6. Dip into melted semi-sweet chocolate if desired and place on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Chill again until firm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze for up to three months. Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor.
