Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create a flavorful marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl with the marinade. Ensure the chicken is well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill, and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add pineapple juice to the marinade. Substitute chicken with firm tofu for vegetarian option.
