- 4 sweet potatoes
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap each sweet potato in aluminum foil.
- Bake the wrapped sweet potatoes directly in the oven for about 45 minutes until tender.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and brown it, breaking apart as it cooks.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and hot honey to the skillet. Stir and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven, unwrap, and cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out some flesh to create a boat.
- Spoon the hot honey ground beef mixture into each sweet potato half.
- Sprinkle chopped green onions on top for garnish.
- Serve warm for the best experience.
