Description
Tender bites of pork belly enveloped in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, perfect for any gathering or a delightful snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb pork belly, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s hot enough to crisp up the pork belly.
- Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl to create the marinade.
- Add the pork belly pieces to the marinade and ensure they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Spread the marinated pork belly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and caramelized.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
Ensure the pork belly is well coated with the marinade for maximum flavor. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet; giving space allows the pork to crisp up nicely.
