Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese (2% or full fat works best)
  • 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill (optional for extra flavor)
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with a high-quality piece of parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. This step is crucial because the cheese will stick to a bare pan or aluminum foil.
  2. Place the cottage cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, dried dill, and black pepper into a small blender or food processor. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and there are no visible curds remaining.
  3. Using a tablespoon, drop small circles of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Leave at least two inches of space between each circle as they will spread slightly while baking. Use the back of the spoon to flatten them into thin, even rounds.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the center rack of the oven. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Watch them closely during the last 5 minutes. You want the edges to be golden brown and the centers to look dry and firm.
  5. Remove the pan from the oven and let the chips sit on the baking sheet for at least 5 to 10 minutes. They will continue to crisp up as they cool. Once they are firm, gently peel them off the parchment paper and enjoy.
