Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen peach slices
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds or chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the almond milk and optional Greek yogurt into the blender jar first. Adding the liquid before the frozen fruit helps the blades rotate more freely and prevents the motor from stalling.
  2. Add the scoop of vanilla protein powder, flaxseeds, and any optional sweetener like honey. Placing the powder on top of the liquid helps it incorporate better without sticking to the sides of the blender.
  3. Place the frozen peach slices and mango chunks into the blender. Using frozen fruit is key to achieving a thick, cold texture that makes the smoothie feel more like a treat.
  4. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds. Continue blending until no visible fruit chunks remain and the mixture looks completely homogenous and creamy.
  5. Check the thickness of your smoothie. If it is too thick, add an extra splash of milk and pulse. If you prefer it thicker, add a few more pieces of frozen fruit and blend again briefly.
