1/2 cup ginger beer (or ginger ale for a sweeter taste)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon honey or simple syrup (optional)
Fresh cranberries for garnish
Fresh rosemary sprigs or mint leaves for garnish
Ice cubes
Instructions
Step 1: Chill Your Glassware: For the best experience, place your glasses in the freezer for about 10 minutes before starting. A chilled glass keeps the mocktail fizzy and cold for a longer period.
Step 2: Combine the Base: In a small pitcher or a large measuring cup, combine the cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, and your choice of sweetener. Stir well until the honey or syrup is fully dissolved into the juice.
Step 3: Prepare the Ice: Fill two glasses halfway with ice cubes. If you want a fancier look, you can use large clear ice spheres or even frozen cranberries instead of some of the ice.
Step 4: Pour and Fizz: Divide the cranberry mixture evenly between the two glasses. Slowly top each glass with the ginger beer. Pouring slowly helps maintain the carbonation so your drink stays bubbly.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve: Gently stir once with a long spoon to mix the layers. Top with a few fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary. The rosemary provides a wonderful aromatic element every time you take a sip.
