Description

Delicate and versatile crepes that can be filled with sweet or savory ingredients, perfect for any meal or occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by gathering all your ingredients together. This will make the process smooth and fast.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, salt, and sugar until you achieve a smooth batter. Make sure there are no lumps. Let it rest while you prepare the skillet.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet and quickly swirl it around to form a thin layer. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown. Flip the crepe and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
  4. Repeat the cooking process with the remaining batter, stacking the cooked crepes on a plate. Serve them warm with your favorite fillings such as fruits, Nutella, or savory options like ham and cheese.

Notes

Refrigerate leftover crepes for up to 3 days, separated with parchment paper, and wrap tightly.
