- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Prepare a springform pan by greasing the sides.
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until well combined. Press into the bottom of the springform pan.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and continue mixing until creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well to combine.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in the sour cream and heavy cream until fully incorporated.
- Steep the Earl Grey tea leaves in hot water, then add to the cheesecake mixture.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is set.
- Cool the cheesecake to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For best texture, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
