Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Prepare a springform pan by greasing the sides.
  2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until well combined. Press into the bottom of the springform pan.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and continue mixing until creamy.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mix well to combine.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Fold in the sour cream and heavy cream until fully incorporated.
  7. Steep the Earl Grey tea leaves in hot water, then add to the cheesecake mixture.
  8. Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is set.
  9. Cool the cheesecake to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For best texture, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
