  • 1 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are crisp and centers are soft.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better texture. Chill the dough for thicker cookies.
