1 to 2 packages Ghost Marshmallow Peeps (usually 9–12 ghosts)
Optional: Mini chocolate chips for eyes or extra decoration
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a bit of an overhang on the sides.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Stir until the mixture looks like wet sand and all the crumbs are evenly coated with butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared baking pan using a flat spatula or the bottom of a measuring cup.
Place the pan in the oven and bake the crust for about 8 to 10 minutes until it is lightly golden brown and smells fragrant.
Immediately after taking the crust out of the oven, sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the hot crust. Let them sit for 2 to 3 minutes until they begin to melt. Use an offset spatula to spread the chocolate into a smooth, even layer across the entire surface.
Arrange the Ghost Peeps on top of the melted chocolate layer. Press them down very gently so they stick to the chocolate.
Return the pan to the oven for just 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the bars cool completely before slicing.
