Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) cream of coconut (such as Coco Lopez)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 can (13.5 oz) full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Base: Open all the cans of milk and cream. Use a spoon to ensure you get all the thick cream of coconut out of the can, as this provides the signature texture and sweetness of the drink.
  2. Step 2: Blend the Ingredients: Add the cream of coconut, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and coconut milk into a large blender. Add the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Blend on high speed for about 1 to 2 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth and frothy.
  3. Step 3: Chill Thoroughly: Pour the blended mixture into glass bottles or a large pitcher. Seal or cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. For the best flavor, let it chill overnight to allow the spices to meld with the coconut milk.
  4. Step 4: Final Shake and Garnish: Before serving, give the bottle a very good shake as the coconut fat may solidify or separate slightly while cold. Pour into small glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cinnamon stick.
