Optional: Graham crackers, pretzels, or fruit for dipping
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Snack Cakes Unwrap five Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes. Place them in a medium bowl and use a fork or your hands to crumble them into small pieces. You want a mix of fine crumbs and some slightly larger chunks for texture.
Step 2: Beat the Cream Cheese In a separate large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it is smooth and fluffy. Add the milk (or heavy cream) and vanilla extract, and continue beating until the mixture is well combined and has no lumps.
Step 3: Combine Cakes and Base Add the crumbled snack cakes into the cream cheese mixture. Use a rubber spatula to gently fold the cake pieces into the cream. This ensures you keep some of those delightful cake textures throughout the dip.
Step 4: Fold in Whipped Topping Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping. Be careful not to overmix, as you want the dip to remain light and airy. Once combined, transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
Step 5: Garnish and Chill Top the dip with extra red and green sprinkles or even an extra crumbled cake. For the best consistency, let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
