Ingredients

Scale

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Optional: red and green sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. Combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pastry tree and fold the edges to create branches.
  5. Brush the surface of the pastry with the beaten egg.
  6. Place the Danish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool slightly on a wire rack.
