Description
A delightful dish combining succulent shrimp with rich garlic and butter flavors, enveloped in creamy goodness, served with fluffy rice.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant for about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season them with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine, allowing the shrimp to absorb the creamy flavor. Continue to cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix thoroughly to coat the rice in the creamy shrimp sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Adjust seasonings to taste; adding a squeeze of lemon juice can enhance freshness.
