Ingredients

- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the orzo pasta and chicken broth to the pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
- Cook for about 10-12 minutes until tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in shredded chicken, heavy cream, chopped spinach, and grated parmesan. Season with salt and pepper, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with extra parmesan or crushed red pepper for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
