- 1 loaf of Italian or French bread
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the shredded chicken and Alfredo sauce, stirring until well combined and heated through.
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet. Spread the chicken Alfredo mixture over both halves, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and season.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with parsley, slice, and enjoy!
Notes
Can use rotisserie chicken to save time. For a lighter version, use whole wheat bread and a low-fat Alfredo sauce.
