Description

A mouthwatering dish combining rich Alfredo sauce with tender chicken, served atop crusty bread and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Italian or French bread
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the shredded chicken and Alfredo sauce, stirring until well combined and heated through.
  4. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet. Spread the chicken Alfredo mixture over both halves, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and season.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with parsley, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

Can use rotisserie chicken to save time. For a lighter version, use whole wheat bread and a low-fat Alfredo sauce.
