The ultimate comfort food, combining tender chicken with a rich sauce over hearty penne pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound penne pasta

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well until the sauce is smooth.
  3. In a separate pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Once done, drain the pasta thoroughly.
  4. Divide the cooked pasta into bowls. Top each bowl with slices of the cooked chicken and drizzle generously with the creamy Alfredo sauce. Serve immediately for the best flavor!

Notes

Serve with extra Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper. Pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
