Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: icing for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.
  3. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the pastry and cut into strips.
  5. Twist each strip to create a spiral shape and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the twists.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly and drizzle with icing if desired.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
