- 4 Italian hoagie rolls
- 2 cups Lettuce (shredded)
- 1 cup Tomatoes (diced)
- 1 cup Cucumbers (diced)
- 1/2 cup Red onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup Green bell pepper (diced)
- 1/2 cup Black olives (sliced)
- 1/2 cup Pepperoncini
- 8 oz Salami (sliced)
- 8 oz Provolone cheese (sliced)
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Combine the lettuce, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, thinly sliced red onion, diced green bell pepper, sliced black olives, and pepperoncini in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
- Slice the Italian hoagie rolls in half and layer the salami and provolone cheese on the bottom half.
- Top the meat and cheese layer with the salad mixture. Place the top half of the rolls on and press down lightly.
- Serve immediately or slice in half for easier enjoyment.
Notes
Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
