Description

A mouthwatering blend of fresh vegetables, Italian meats, and gooey cheese, perfect for gatherings or picnics.


Ingredients

  • 4 Italian hoagie rolls
  • 2 cups Lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 cup Tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 cup Cucumbers (diced)
  • 1/2 cup Red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup Green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 cup Black olives (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoncini
  • 8 oz Salami (sliced)
  • 8 oz Provolone cheese (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Combine the lettuce, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, thinly sliced red onion, diced green bell pepper, sliced black olives, and pepperoncini in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
  3. Slice the Italian hoagie rolls in half and layer the salami and provolone cheese on the bottom half.
  4. Top the meat and cheese layer with the salad mixture. Place the top half of the rolls on and press down lightly.
  5. Serve immediately or slice in half for easier enjoyment.

Notes

Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
