Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil in a separate bowl until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture gradually, mixing until just combined.
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  6. Scoop out portions of dough, roll them into balls, and coat each with powdered sugar.
  7. Space the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set, then cool on a wire rack.
