Chocolate Covered Strawberries

  • Author: mia-harper
  • Total Time: 12 minutes
  • Yield: 12 strawberries
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A delightful treat combining the sweetness of fresh strawberries with rich chocolate, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Dark chocolate or milk chocolate
  • White chocolate (optional for drizzling)
  • Sprinkles or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Make sure they are completely dry before dipping to ensure that the chocolate adheres properly.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl by heating it in 30-second intervals. Stir in between until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it evenly. Lift it out and allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
  4. Place the coated strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. If you’re using white chocolate, melt it now and drizzle it over the chocolate-covered strawberries.
  5. Add sprinkles or chopped nuts while the chocolate is still wet for an extra crunch and visual appeal.
  6. Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Best eaten fresh.
