- 1 lb chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic; sauté until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add shredded chicken, noodles, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until noodles are cooked.
- Serve hot, ladle the soup into bowls.
