Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine the cooked tortellini, meat mixture, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella in a large mixing bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, topping it with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
