- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine the cooked tortellini, meat mixture, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, topping it with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
